Dr Danielle SU

Dr Danielle Su is part of the Core Modelling Development Branch at CCRS and will be working on the development of a high resolution coupled atmosphere-ocean model across Singapore and Southeast Asia as part of cSINGV.

Prior to joining CCRS, Dr Su worked as an oceanographer with DHI where her portfolio covered scenario design for site specific coastal adaption for climate change, delivery of operational and extreme Metocean conditions for coastal and offshore engineering, biogeochemical modelling for blue carbon systems and operational maintenance of coastal models for Singapore and the South China Sea region. She completed her PhD at The University of Western Australia where her research investigated the seasonal and interannual variability of flow topography interactions in the Northern Indian Ocean as part of UNESCO’s Second International Indian Ocean Expedition. After her PhD, Dr Su worked at LOCEAN/CNRS in Paris, France as a postdoctoral scientist where she investigated the underlying physical mechanisms of oceanic carbon subduction under different climate change scenarios.
