Dr Song CHEN
Dr Song Chen’s research focuses on high-fidelity numerical modelling. He has accumulated extensive experience on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using methods of RANS, Detached Eddy Simulations (DES), and Large Eddy Simulations (LES). He is currently working on the urban surface exchange scheme of the SINGV, aiming to improve its weather forecasting ability and to enhance the understanding of urban climates. He is also passionate about combining his aerospace background into weather forecasting research.
