Dr Nidheesh GANGADHARAN
Dr Nidheesh Gangadharan has a physical oceanography background, and his research focuses on sea-level changes over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. Before joining CCRS, Dr Nidheesh was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Louvain, where his research addressed the global-mean sea-level changes in the last two millennia using a process-based method. His research has contributed to understanding Indo-Pacific decadal sea-level variability, and he was a recipient of the Young Researcher Fellowship jointly awarded by IPCC and PAMF in 2017. In CCRS, Dr Nidheesh’s work will contribute to Singapore’s National Sea Level Program, designed to deliver estimates of mean sea-level rise and projections around Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian region.
