Dr Simon PEATMAN
Dr Simon Peatman works on research into seasonal and subseasonal variability in the Southeast Asia region. He joined CCRS in 2024 with 14 years’ experience of research in tropical atmospheric processes, mainly focusing on convective storms over Southeast Asia and how they vary under large-scale drivers such as the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO), equatorial waves and the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO).
