Dr YU Jianjun

Dr Yu Jianjun has the background of geography, geographic information system (GIS), water resources, and environmental engineering. He had participated in environmental hazard risk assessment and real-time forecasting projects (i.e. flood, drought, landslides and tsunami) across Southeast Asia and China. With his experiences in modelling terrestrial ecosystem and species distribution in the UK, Dr Yu is working on climate change impact modelling on biodiversity and ecology at CCRS. He also possesses more than 10 years of experience in developing GIS and hydraulic simulation software.
